Join us for a thrilling two-day guided climbing experience in Lampang’s breathtaking limestone cliffs. 

The Lampang 2-Day Multi-Pitch Adventure is designed for climbers looking to push their limits, develop their skills, and immerse themselves in the  beauty of Northern Thailand’s vertical landscapes.

Day 1 

Your journey begins with a morning departure from Chiang Mai, driving through scenic landscapes to reach the towering walls of “Tan Por Bor” (Commander)—the “El Cap” of Northern Thailand. This five-pitch, 120-meter route delivers breathtaking exposure, stunning views, and a sense of vertical adventure like no other.

After a full day of climbing, unwind at a local farm stay, nestled in a remote valley. Enjoy a delicious home-cooked meal and a night in a cozy bungalow, soaking in the peaceful countryside and sharing stories of the day’s climb.

Day 2 

Wake up refreshed and ready to take on “In Through The Out Door,” a four-pitch, 80-meter route that winds through caves and tunnels high on the cliffside. This route is a true adventure, blending vertical climbing with unique underground exploration.

In addition to these classic multi-pitch routes, you’ll have the chance to sample some of the best single-pitch climbs in the area, adding variety to your experience. Throughout the trip, your guide can offer personalized coaching, covering everything from efficient multi-pitch transitions to anchor management and route-finding skills.

What experience do I need to join this course?
• This adventure is suitable for climbers with prior outdoor climbing experience who are comfortable on top rope and lead climbing grades of 6a or higher. While multi-pitch experience is beneficial, it is not required—our guides will provide instruction and support to help you develop your skills along the way.

• Day 1 – The Big Wall Experience
  • 8:30 AM – Pick-up from Chiang Mai and drive to Lampang
  • 11:00 AM – Gear up and approach Tan Por Bor (Commander)
  • 12:00 PM – Begin multi-pitch ascent (five pitches, 120m)
  • 4:30 PM – Rappel down and debrief
  • 6:00 PM – Arrive at the farm stay, enjoy dinner, and relax
• Day 2 – The Cave Route
  • 7:00 AM – Breakfast and preparation
  • 8:30 AM – Drive to the climbing site
  • 9:00 AM – Begin ascent of In Through The Out Door (four pitches, 80m)
  • 1:00 PM – Additional single-pitch climbing and skills coaching
  • 3:00 PM – Depart for Chiang Mai
  • 5:30 PM – Arrive back in Chiang Mai
