Explore the stunning caves in Lampang with this guided experience.
This full-day adventure takes you deep underground where you will see live cave formations including stalactites, stalagmites, flowstones and more. The cave environment is crawling with life including creepy crawlers, bats, snakes, cave crickets and other fascinating creatures. One special and unique feature at Tham Pha Thai Cave a bad air chamber where visitors can experience if they dare.
Our experienced cave guides will give you a brief introduction to cave surveying giving you the opportunity to understand how cave systems are mapped and recorded.
Finish the day off with a visit to the historical cave painting site Pratu Pha, home to prehistoric rock art estimated to be 12,000 years old.
One more exciting stop on the way back to Chiang Mai at the local market for coffee and tea to bring the day to a close.

No experience is required for this adventure however a decent level of general physical fitness is necessary.

During some parts of the year, there is water in the cave so you may get wet! A change of clothes is recommended.

07.30 – 10.00: Transport to Cave (Coffee stop on the way)
10.00 – 12.00: Cave Exploration
12.00 – 13.00: Lunch
13.00 – 13.30: Transfer to Pratu Pha
13.30 – 14.30: Visit Historical Cliff Paintings
14.30 – 15.00: Coffee and Tea at local Market
15.00 – 17.30: Return to CMRCA with a Stop at the Local Market
