This one-of-a-kind experience takes you through some of Northern Thailand’s most captivating caves, combining both the allure of show caves and the thrill of adventure caves. You’ll witness stunning natural formations, learn foundational horizontal caving techniques, and push the boundaries of your comfort zone as you crawl, duck, and squeeze through fascinating underground passages.

The adventure begins with the awe-inspiring Muang On Cave, a spacious show cave filled with striking stalactites, stalagmites, and a historic reclining Buddha that makes for a serene and intriguing starting point. Afterward, the real adventure begins as you explore the more rugged and hidden adventure caves tucked deep into Crazy Horse Buttress. Navigate through the exhilarating twists and turns of caves such as Buddha Cave, Windy Cave, Anxiety State Crisis Cave, and Tamarind Cave, each offering its own unique geological features and challenges.

Whether you’re crawling through narrow tunnels, marveling at stunning rock formations, or learning about the delicate cave ecosystems, you’ll leave with a deep appreciation for the underground world.

Who can join this course?
• This course is ideal for beginners and intermediate-level adventurers who are looking for a unique and safe introduction to horizontal caving.
• Participants should have moderate physical fitness, as the day involves crawling, ducking, and navigating through tight cave passages. No prior caving experience is necessary, but a love for adventure and curiosity is a must!

• 08:00 - Meet at Progression Vertical Climbing Gym
• 08:30 - Red Truck Transportation to Crazy Horse Buttress
• 09:30 - Horizontal Caving Experience in Show Caves (Muang On Cave)
• 12:00 - Locally-Prepared Thai Lunch
• 13:00 - Explore Adventure Caves (Buddha Cave, Anxiety State Crisis Cave, and more)
• 16:30 - Return to Progression Vertical via Red Truck Transportation
