This past Saturday, December 16, Progression Vertical hosted the Second Round of the Community Crank Winter Series
With over 69 participants across the divisions, this round was our best one yet. Our Progression Vertical team accompanied guest route setters from Bangkok (Ploy, Tung, Gwang, and Win) to set unique challenges for all levels of climbers.
In addition to the fierce competition on the climbing wall, the lively event had food vendors, shopping, and a lucky draw raffle. Climbers and supporters snacked on burgers, papaya salad, French cheeses, and more as they bonded with other members of the climbing community.
Lucky Draw for the TCDA
This round we continued to do the Lucky Draw raffle to raise money for the Thailand Climbing Development Association (TCDA). The community’s generosity was on full display, resulting in an impressive total of 30,600 THB raised over the first two rounds of the Winter Series. This donation is an investment into a brighter future for climbing throughout Thailand.
Current Standings
This round awarded winners with Progression Equipment vouchers and Progression Vertical Climbing Gym memberships. In addition to this round’s awards, the overall rankings reflected the new scores.
