Low tourist season means more time to go bolting… Chiang Mai Climbing Club members Mario, Colin, Josh, Kat, Pui, and Steve trekked up to Heart Wall to try out one of the beautiful brand-new routes on this soaring, golden limestone cliff (featured in Climbing Magazine in March 2010). Sustained, pumpy, and incredibly fun, Dee Jai ti dai Geud (“It’s Great to Be Alive”) is rated 6b+ and bolted with marine-grade stainless steel glue-in hardware, according to Crazy Horse’s acclaimed bolting standard.
