CMRCA’s founder/director team took center stage on international television last week during the World Championship Climb to the Sands Skypark. Josh and Kat were among 21 world-class climbers who pioneered a new kind of speed climbing during the gala opening ceremony of the Marina Bay Sands — a relay race up the resort’s three soaring glass towers.
Results? Josh gave Team Asia a strong start with his run up the first tower, finishing second just behind Team China. Kat, on the third and final leg of the relay came from behind and passed two other climbers during her ascent to reclaim 5th Place for Team Asia. Most importantly, they had a great time participating in this one-of-a-kind event, and are now fit for just about any layback problem rock — or steel — can offer.
