Crazy Horse Buttress is a world-class climbing destination in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Over the past 25 years, tens of thousands of climbers have visited to enjoy the climbs and connect with the local community. However, due to government regulations and conflicts between local and provincial authorities, the area has faced multiple closures. These disruptions have significantly impacted the livelihoods of local businesses and villagers, as well as the experiences of visiting climbers and tourism in Northern Thailand.
