Next week CMRCA will be making the trip to the big city for the Thailand Bouldering Competition and the Thailand Dive Expo at the NEO Sirikit Convention Center in Bangkok.
Phairat Kaewkan (Muad) and Suradet Kongsingh (Ooan) will be competing in the competition (May 16-17), with Muad representing the Thai National Climbing Team as its captain. He’s been training hard, and although it’s going to be a tough international field of world-class climbers, we’re expecting a strong showing! Josh will also be MC’ing the event, so no matter how the comp goes, Chiang Mai will be well represented!
But perhaps more importantly, CMRCA will have a large booth at the competition as a part of the Thailand Dive Expo (May 15-17). Kat, Pui, Taw, and Ted will be at the booth, selling gear at huge discounts, running raffles, and giving out stickers and posters. The booth will be located right in front of the bouldering wall, so after you watch the comp, swing by, say hi, and pick up some gear or a weekend climbing package on the cheap!
