2021 was an incredibly tough year. Just as things began to return to normal, we were hit with more lockdowns and pauses to any sense of normal. In climbing and caving, we are often faced with the same.
Failure is necessary to growth and progression in climbing and caving. Falling, or failing to find a way through challenge us to look inward give us the skills to deal with things when they don’t go as planned. Ultimately climbing and caving provide powerful lessons for what is possible and if we stay present in the moment we learn and can achieve what we previously thought was impossible.
This has been our approach throughout the Covid-19 pandemic, allowing us to stay present and focused and steadily continue our progression forward. As we look ahead to 2022 we could not be more excited about how many open loops are starting to come together.
We facilitated an innovative team building experience in a cave in Tennessee and followed it up with an amazing trip underground caving in TAG country. We successfully delivered two weeks of winter adventure camps filled with camping, climbing and caving for local youth. More climbers than ever have participated in our Climb Lampang experience. Perhaps most exciting is the near completion of the new Progression Vertical Sports Center.
While things remain uncertain as we look ahead, we recognize that business, like life, and like climbing and caving is a long game. While it is filled with challenge and uncertainty, it is also filled with adventure and we could not be more excited to continue your adventure as we Fuel Our Progression into the future.
From all of us at Progression, we wish you a happy and healthy 2022 filled with adventure.
