After a long two month break, CMRCA is back and ready to reopen while implementing a “new normal”!
April and May saw CMRCA closing its doors in an effort to do our part to curb the spread of the COVID 19 virus, as well as to protect the health and safety of our employees and community members. As we begin to see some of the lockdown and prevention measures relaxing in and around Thailand, we feel that the time has come that we can at last safely reopen our bouldering wall and office to allow customers to return and continue engaging with the sport that we all love and miss starting on June 1.
These last few weeks the main thing on our mind has been, “When will we be able reopen our facility, and how will we ensure the health and safety of our staff and members when we do?” Like thousands of businesses, restaurants, gyms and fitness centres around the world, CMRCA will be following a series of specific protocols designed to keep climbers and customers safe, and prevent the spread of infectious illness while visiting our facility. You will see posters posted around our bouldering wall and shop outlining some of these protocols, but for more specific information please take a quick look at our blog post here, or reach out to us on facebook, Line or email.
While it’s been amazing to see how climbers from around the world have been staying connected and sharing their new routines from home, we’re thrilled to get back on the wall with all of our incredible community members and start to climb and train once again. We are committed to providing a safe venue for our community to come together and connect with another, and as such we will continue to update our policies to reflect the most up to date information from relevant authorities.
From all of us here in the CMRCA and Progression team, we are looking forward to seeing you on the wall, and to continuing to climb, train, and play together as a community.
