What can the Chiang Mai climbing community accomplish in three days? Just ask the several tons of dust we cleared from the base of Crazy Horse Buttress last weekend. CMRCA guides, Chiang Mai Climbing Club regulars, and local workers toiled side by side to create a series of new platforms that will make belaying at the main crag both safer and more comfortable. Along the way we discovered a new cave, found human bones and pot shards buried a meter down in the dust, got dirtier than some of us (who had never been caving in rainy season) thought possible, and had a fantastic time.
