In Chiang Mai, you see it every day: Wat Prathat Doi Suthep, a golden temple glinting from its perch in the rolling jungle hills that rise west of the city. Once a year, on Visakha Bucha Day (also known as Buddha’s birthday), the people of Chiang Mai follow their gaze and walk to the famous mountain temple, gaining merit and good luck.
This 13 kilometer hike is best done with friends! CMRCA is inviting all members of our community to join us on Friday, May 28 on the annual walk to Wat Doi Suthep. Meet us in Huay Gaeow Fitness Park at 18.30 – just look for the big C Cubed Banner. Don’t forget to wear your CMRCA or C Cubed t-shirt!
